Cleanliness, particle detection systems, inspection methods, process control, quality assurance and failure analysis are very important, and test methods are generally used to obtain detailed procedures for cleanliness data related to test objects such as various machines and electronic parts.

Some contaminants on the surface of the workpiece can be detected directly, while others need to be detected indirectly. For example, the cleanliness of parts and system cavities in a machine is often done indirectly, using a working fluid or process fluid (cleaning fluid) For example, the cleanliness of a hydraulic system is determined by detecting the cleanliness of the hydraulic oil. Indirect testing mainly involves the collection of oil samples, the purification of oil samples and weighing.

The degree of ion contamination can also be determined by indirect methods, first cleaning the circuit board surface with a test solution, and then detecting the resistivity or conductivity of the extract, the main detection methods are sodium chloride equivalent method and ion chromatography.

With the advancement of part cleaning technology and application fields, the cleanliness requirements of parts have become particularly stringent. Cleanliness particle inspection requirements sometimes outweigh practicality and functionality, which leads to higher costs and more wasted time and resources.

The establishment of specifications and standards for cleanliness particle detection systems involves the size of parts, the nature of contaminants, the necessary cleaning processes, and the testing and verification of the cleanliness of automotive parts.

The size of the part is the basis for designing the cleaning process. Cleaning equipment manufacturers and customers work together to accurately understand the dimensions, tolerances and material composition of parts. In particular, the material cannot be ignored, because during the cleaning process, chemicals can corrode, and physical cleaning can cause thermal expansion, which can change the size of the part.

Before cleaning, the cleanliness of auto parts should be tested, such as using a balance to detect the weight, size, quantity, shape and nature of pollutants, and using a fully automatic scanning microscope or laser particle size analyzer to detect cleanliness.

Correctly calculating the nature, quantity and size of pollutants is especially important for the design or purchase of cleaning equipmentIf you use a cleaning machine with a small cleaning capacity to clean parts with too many pollutants, the washing machine is easy to overload, it should be noted that parts with small size but many pollutants may require larger cleaning tanks. Cleanliness particle detection, to determine the nature and quantity of pollutants, is not only a spot check of the results, but also a reasonable and correct cleaning process of parts.
