The cleanliness of the surface of the part has a very important impact on the reliability and durability of the part, and the pollutants on the surface of the part are mostly solid particles such as chips, burrs, cast sand, welding slag, and abrasives. These pollutants will accelerate the wear of parts, block the orifice of parts, make parts lose their adjustment function, enter the spool gap, make the valve core stuck, strain the inner surface of the cylinder, increase the leakage or decrease the output force, damage the oil distribution plate of the pump, and burn out the pump.
The automatic analysis system of parts cleanliness adopts precision microporous filter membrane, vacuum filtration of the fluid to be measured, intercepts the particulate pollutants in the fluid on the surface of the filter membrane, and then uses color scale colorimetric method, paired weighing method, microscope observation method, instrument analysis and other methods to analyze the size, quantity and composition of particulate pollutants contained in the fluid. According to the nature of the fluid, particle size and analysis purpose, filter membranes with different properties and pore sizes are selected.
The establishment of specifications and standards for automatic part cleanliness analysis systems involves five steps and questions: part size, contaminant properties, necessary cleaning, cleaning process and cleanliness testing and verification.
First of all, the part size is the basis for designing a new cleaning process. Cleaning equipment manufacturers should work with customers to understand the dimensional tolerances and material composition of the part. In particular, materials cannot be ignored, as chemicals corrode during cleaning, and physical cleaning can cause thermal expansion and change part size.
The second issue is the nature and amount of contaminants that need to be cleaned, which is an important variable in cleaning efforts. Before cleaning, the cleanliness of parts should be checked, such as weighing the weight of contaminants with a balance, and detecting the size, quantity, shape, and nature of particles with an automatic cleanliness detection scanning microscope or laser particle size analyzer. Correctly calculating the nature of the pollutant, the number and size of the pollutant, for the design of the cleaning equipment or the purchase of the cleaning equipment are very important, the use of cleaning capacity small cleaning machine cleaning too much or too many parts of the contaminant, will soon overload the cleaning machine It should be emphasized that the parts with small size but many pollutants may need a larger cleaning tank to replace.
Comprehensive cleanliness testing to determine the nature and quantity of contaminants is not only a spot check of the results, but also a reasonable and correct cleaning process for parts.
